Our Story
Welcome to Black People United International
We Are Many Cultures. One Humanity. One Movement.
Built on Culture. Driven by Unity. Open to All.
Black-founded. International membership. Global in vision. Inclusive in purpose.
Who We Are
We are people who believe doing good still matters.
Black People United International (B.P.U.I.) is a multicultural, community-driven organization bringing together individuals who want to use their talents, experiences, resources, and voices to make a difference. Everyone has something to give—whether it is mentoring, teaching, volunteering, sponsoring programs, or simply showing up.
- Our Roots: Strongly connected to New York City, extending across America, the Caribbean, and globally.
- Our Approach: We are not building walls around communities; we are building bridges between them.
Our Identity & Heritage
Our name tells our beginning. Our movement tells the rest of the story.
B.P.U.I. began with Black people coming together around a simple idea: Let’s do something good. We proudly honor that foundation, but our doors are open to everyone—every race, culture, nationality, and generation. You never have to erase your identity to belong here.
- Bring your culture.
- Bring your story.
- Bring your talent.
- Bring your ideas.
- Bring your heart for service.
Our Mission & Vision
We turn unity into opportunity—and opportunity into impact.
We exist to close the distance between people who need opportunities and those who can help create them. We envision a world where your ZIP code, birthplace, race, or financial circumstances do not determine your success.
Our Mission in Four Actions:
- Unite people
- Create opportunities
- Give back
- Change lives
Our 7 Impact Pillars
Seven commitments. One purpose: Create change that people can feel.

5. Community Service & Giving Back
When our community needs us, we show up. Mobilizing support for youth, families, seniors, and veterans facing hardship. -
